One of my goals is to plan weekly to monthly menu plans. I am still working on scouring through all my recipes to create my menu for each week in January and let's say it's not easy to do. Trying to make sure it's going to be enhancing my diet vs. taking away from it and finding recipes to please Mr. Doohikey can be difficult. So I created this printable that you can also use to create your weekly Menu Plan and it has a place for you to write down your shopping list so you can check what you may or may not have in your pantry.

What has helped me this past year is to find a balance in still eating what I want occasionally with still keeping to low carbs as my diet. I've found if I deprive myself I want to eat more of the unhealthy foods, but if I eat things in moderation I'm not going to crave them as often. I just hope by trying to be more diligent in planning our menu's in 2014 I will shed alot more pounds and keep my health in check.
