2014 is going to be a good year. It hit me this morning like a bolt of lighting that the word of the year is...FOCUS! It's a word that fits perfectly to all the mini goals I have planned for this year.
The definition of fo·cus is: 1. the center of interest or activity. 2. the state or quality of having or producing clear visual definition. The verb definiton is: 1. (of a person or their eyes) adapt to the prevailing level of light and become able to see clearly. 2. pay particular attention to.
I want to be able to focus on what matters most.
I've created this worksheet to fill in my chosen word for the year. I then created six areas I wanted to focus on with Mini Goals that I can expand and work on each month. This is my blue print for reaching my 2014 goals. The six areas I have chosen are:
I have spelled out in each area what I want to accomplish this year in 2014. It will help me keep in check when I'm focusing each month on breaking out what I can do in each area. Alot of them really go hand in hand and I'm quite excited about this journey I'm on in becoming more focused on what matters most!
I even created this fun printable that you can download for a daily reminder. I may even get them printed on canvas and sell them in my Etsy shop. Would anyone be interested in that? Let me know in comments.
You can download it by clicking here. It's an 8.5 x 11 printable in several colors! I hope that as you choose your word of the year that you will find the perfect one to help you reach your goals and dreams. I know 2014 will be the year for alot of positive changes in my life and my families life. I've enjoyed making my goals this year and I can't wait to see it all happen. Let's all stay focused on being positive and start 2014 with a bang!
