If you have ever been to New York, then you know that this worthy looking pie is called, Crack Pie. It's made by Christina Tosi from Momofuku Milk Bar. I've been considering ordering this from New York for my birthday on Tuesday, but I found this recipe online and I think I'm going to attempt in making this loveliness. Is it on my diet plan? No! But I don't care! It's going to be my birthday and I deserve a treat for all the hard work I've been putting into getting my health back. i've been making some healthy life style changes, but once in a while... I think you can indulge yourself into something sweet.
With this sweet pie.. it's a salty sweet flavor that is OH SO surprising! Not that I wanted to dedicate this post to this pie, but I wanted to check in and say hello. I've been working on some deadlines for personal, designs, and business and I've been neglecting my blog...unintentionally.
I've had a few requests about the Life in the Jungle Boy Quilt, and I will be posting the instructions on my blog by Monday. It was done by Bonnie Bailey from Pie Plate Quilts using the Raw Edge Method. I'm going to grid it out and let you know what you need the best I can. It was such a sweet quilt and she did an amazing job. I wil have a picture and diagram for you soon.
Now... I'm going to attempt to make the Crack Pie and I will let you know how it goes!
