One of my favorite holidays is Halloween and the little trick or treaters that adorn our door. I love seeing all the creativity and how some kids stay in character. Don't you just miss being a little kid at times, so carefree and the ability to look so cute in your costume? Last night we carved our pumpkins and I can't wait to light them up.
One of my favorite things to do is to decorate for the holidays. I owe my mom for my creativity that way. She's super talented, and loves to decorate for each holiday. She even tried to get me to put up my Christmas sooner than later... I may just do that. Here's a fun picture of her nightscape.
And here is one underneath her kitchen window.
and one more of my shelf in my sitting room.
Yes, I do love more of the vintage looking Halloween decorations. I think it stems down from my love of The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown movie, and a mix of Ted Burton's halloween movies. I'm heading off to make a few soups, a halloween tradition we have, get all the treats ready for the little trick or treaters, and find some halloween music to play by the door.
I hope you all have a very safe Halloween night, and that your little spookers get all the treats they want tonight! I may have to rewatch the Modern Family halloween episode tonight, for kicks and giggles.
Remember to come back tomorrow to get your Gratitude list for the month. I hope that you will all join me to kick November with a good start of remembering what we are grateful for. I hope by doing this we can inspire each other. Gratitude equals happiness for a happier and loving life!
Happy Halloween!
XOXO
